Yes. Every new student receives a free consultation where we discuss their academic goals, current progress and how MarsMind Academy can best support them.

If your child has lost confidence, is struggling with certain topics, wants to improve their grades or is aiming for a competitive university course, personalised tuition can provide the extra support they need.

Absolutely. Many students feel nervous at first, but one-to-one tuition provides a relaxed environment where they can ask questions freely and build confidence at their own pace.

Every student learns differently. Some students become more confident within a few weeks, while significant improvements in grades usually take consistent effort over time. Our focus is on building lasting understanding rather than short-term memorisation.

Yes. Tuition isn't only for students who are struggling. Many high-achieving students seek support to reach Grades 8–9, A*, or 

strengthen applications for competitive university courses such as Medicine.

Yes. Lessons are adapted to suit each student's learning style, pace and confidence level to ensure they receive personalised support. 

As a Qualified Science Teacher (QTS), I have experience working with students with a range of learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Yes. Parents are welcome to receive regular updates on their child's progress, areas of improvement and recommendations for continued success.

Most students benefit from one lesson per week. During exam periods, additional sessions may be recommended depending on individual goals. 

Yes. Extra sessions can often be arranged during mock exams, GCSEs, A-Levels and university admissions periods, subject to availability.

Yes. School holidays are an excellent opportunity to strengthen knowledge, prepare for the next academic year or revise for upcoming examinations.

If sufficient notice is given, lessons can usually be rearranged depending on availability. Please refer to the cancellation policy for full details.

Students simply need a stable internet connection, a laptop or tablet, and access to Zoom or Google Meet. 

Any additional resources will be provided if needed.

For younger students, parents are welcome to join the beginning or end of the lesson. For older students, we encourage independence while keeping parents informed of progress.

No. While we specialise in Medicine applications, we also support students applying to a wide range of university courses through personal statement guidance, interview preparation and 

admissions advice.

MarsMind Academy offers more than just tutoring. Founded by an Oxford-trained Qualified Science Teacher (QTS) and current medical student, every lesson is built on evidence-based teaching strategies, personalised support and high academic standards. 

With over four years of experience teaching and mentoring students across a range of educational settings, I understand that no two learners are the same. 

My focus is on helping students gain confidence, master difficult concepts and develop the skills they need to succeed both in school and beyond.

While no tutor can ethically guarantee specific grades, every lesson is carefully tailored to help students improve their understanding, confidence and exam technique. 

Success ultimately depends on factors such as attendance, independent study and commitment, but our goal is to help every student reach their full potential.
